Honor is earned: throw a gauntlet +1, pick one up +2, win +5. Big gauntlets carry stakes that grow with their backers: you earn them for picking it up and again for winning, and you lose them for ducking. Gauntlets with under 5 backers can be ignored for free. Ranks go Peasant, Squire, Knight, Baron, Lord, Duke, and one crown: The Mog.
